tax calculation on gratuity for lic agents

23 March 2011 my client received gratuity from lic of india the amount of 200000/is exempted or not he has completed his 60 years and still working as an agent and served lic for more then 22 years.

24 March 2011 Give the date of retirement, as before 24.5.2010 Limit of Gratuity tax exepmtion is Rs. 3.5 Lac while after this date it is Rs. 10 Lac.
