My query is fabricator is not raising bill but instead fabricator payment challan is generated from system by the company itself (without service tax).
Then in case a single fabricator exceeds Rs 10 lakh then who will pay service tax?
In this case also the fabricator is liable to pay service tax in excess of Rs. 10 lakhs, subject to the provision of service tax which says that If the provider of serive, have billing in previous financial year rs. 10 lakh or more or expected to have billing rs.10 lakh or more in current year or otherwise he is required to get register for service tax when he achieved turnover Rs. 9 lakhs and he is liable to charges service tax on achieving rs. 10 lakhs on the last assumption even if he is not charging in bill, but he is liable to pay service tax on the basis of payment received by him.
