Wheather a trust registered under Bombay Public Trust Act engaged in imparting secular education (running a MBA college on commercial basis)is required to deduct tds on payment of salary or payment to contractors.

Yes Trusts are also liable to deduct TDS

even if they are not reqired to pay income tax and file return therein . as it is filing their documents only with bombay public trust act.
