A Compounder working in dispensary on contract basis getting payment of rs 6000 monthly.
Do I need to deduct the TDS on Rs. 6000 or not If Yes Please tell me which section is applicable 94c or 94 J

First you have to see the person by whom the dispensary is being run? By the doctor or by the compounder?

Decide whether the profession of Dispensary is covered under Tax Audit (if run by an Individual).

We have trust running a medical dispensary and not covered under the tax audit kindly advice me tax should be deducted or not

TDS is not required to be deducted U/s 194C.

For avoiding legal difficulties you can deduct Tax U/s 194J @ 10%.

since compounder is not a professional person as per definition of "professional" under sec 44AA hence no tds is applicable in this case under sec 194J
