29 August 2012 Rs.10 Lakhs.

29 August 2012 If the value of taxable services exceeds Rs. 9 Lacs, then registration with the Service Tax department is must.

Further Service Tax will be payable if the taxable services exceeds Rs. 10 Lacs.

Hence exemption limit has been given upto Rs. 10 Lacs

29 August 2012 The user is not required to charge service tax for their clients and as far the registration is concerned it will remain the same. Whenever he crosses the limit of Rs.15 lakhs then he needs to collect service tax from his clients
