11 January 2014 HI ALL,

SOMEONE TELL ME IF I PROVIDE SECURITY SERVICES AND CHARGE SERVICE TAX ON THAT, AND I RECEIVE SECURITY SERVICE FROM OTHER SERVICE PROVIDER CAN I GET CREDIT ON THE PAYMENT OF SERVICE TAX....

12 January 2014 Yes credit of service tax paid on input service can be used to pay service tax on output service.


12 January 2014 Hi Annu thanks for you reply, please clear one thing if i provide service of Rs. 112.36 (including service tax @12.36%) and received service of Rs. 56.18 (Including Service tax) than how much service tax I liable to be paid.


12 January 2014 As service provider you are liable to pay 25% i.e 3.09.(12.36*25%).whereas as service receiver you have paid 6.18(25% to service provider and 75% to government directly).you can utilize whole 6.18 input service tax credit while paying 3.09.
