Please suggest what procedure to follow to ask for certain information from ICAI under "Right to Information Act"

04 August 2008 The correct procedure:

1) Submit Rs. 10 to the nearest branch of ICAI under a/c head fees for information under RTI

2) Write your question in a plain sheet of paper addressed to CPIO New Delhi or ACPIO, Regional Councils

3) Attach the original receipt of the fees paid

4) Send the letter to any of the relevant authority at the institute's address of the place

relax for one month

If the CPIO rejects the application, you can file an appeal with the appellate authority RTI of ICAI, (currently the Director Central Council), within the period of 30 days of receiving the rejection letter

For appeal, no fees is required to be paid
