sir i want to ask on which amount the revenue stamp is mandatory to affix and is revenue stamp is mandatory on the salary paid in advance

Hi,
As per Indian Stamp Act provisions, revenue stamp is to be affixed on any payments or receipts , amount if exceeds Rs.5,000.
