I have purchased goods from Karnataka to Maharashtra ( Interstate) and paid Transport Charge.
Which tax is liable to pay under RCM? IGST Or CGST/SGST.

If the transporter's address and the service recipient's (person paying the freight) address are in the same State, then it is intra state supply. Accordingly CGST & SGST will have to be paid.
If the addresses are in different States then it is inter-state supply. Accordingly IGST will be paid.
If the addresses are in different States then it is inter-state supply. Accordingly IGST will be paid.
