companies which capitalised exchange difference earlier and if any foreign exchange difference arises again in the current period those can also be capitalised to the cost of asset( depreciable asset). deprecaiation should be recalculated for the remaining useful life if it is non depreciable asset then can be accumulated in a ‘‘Foreign Currency Monetary Item Translation Difference Account”
