18 August 2011 dear sir,

we have 25 employees on our muster.but daily working employees are not greater than 20(means some employees are absent) .should we take registration certificate under PF act

pls guide me

18 August 2011 I thought that ones the Number of Employees in the company exceeds 20, then registration under PF Act is compulsory. I think it does not matter how many are working on a specified day instead whether the number of employees are exceeded 20 in the company master of employees.

Act says that where an Organisation or Company employing 20 or more persons, PF Registration is compulsory.
