I Deduct the TDS of party in First Quater & File the TDS Return but in next Quater no TDS deduct of Party.
My Query is :

Till 31.03.09, the rule required any person deducting TDS, need to file a return. If there is no deduction, no return need to be filed.
How ever, from 01.04.09 onward, the quarterly tds compliance statement need to be filed, even in case of nil deduction.

I agree with Mr. Shyam Lal Naik. If your case is related to period prior to 31.03.2009, then no need to file the NIL TDS return.
