Leave Calculation

22 March 2011 Respected Sirs,

We found the calculation procedure in CA CLUB but it says total period served (365*3.5) less no. of leaves taken excluding weekly holidays. My question is if I take leave in December and Janaury what is my total leave taken. Is it 31+31 days or only working days in those months excluding saturdays & sundays ( 23+23)? Also if there was a public holiday or office was closed during those 2 months do i have to reduce such days from my total leaves taken?

22 March 2011 Normally a person is considered on leave on a particular holiday if he is absent on both days before and after the holiday.

26 May 2012 The total leaves will be 61. It will include sundays and all holidays.
