Can any one guide me regarding interstate sale :
We have charged CST on sale of Car in bill but the car is delevered from our showroom situated in particular state, so in this case there is no movement of goods from one state to another state, so whether it is considered as interstate sale or local sale, and if it is local then whether we have to pay VAT in addition to CST that already paid.

What is the address given in the invoice, if it is out of the state, and car has been delivered to a person who will carry it outside assets as a agent of ypu are purchaser, it is a CST sale.
If it is not like above, you have to pay diiference amount of VAT-CST.

dear sir thanks, obviously address on invoice is of interstate sale, but sales tax officer take a view that movement of goods from one state to another state is mandatory, is there any judgement ?
