Income tax return - regarding

This query is : Resolved

11 August 2015 Dear Sir/Madam,

I have income from salary/interest and my TDS not deducted during FY 2014-15. Secondly i redeemed 1000 units of Mutual Fund on dated 15.05.2014 with total value 51406.19 and got short term gain Rs.2392.66 and long term gain Rs.11149.91

My query:

1. Which ITR form can be use in this case.
2. What about capital Gain.
3. Is there any tax liability can be imposed during filling of ITR.

Regards,
Sanjeev Verma

11 August 2015 1. You can use ITR- 2

2. If the units are equity oriented mutual funds then , long term capital gain exempt from tax u/s 10(38) and short term taxable @ 15%.

3. If no tdS , you are required to pay the tax.
