08 April 2012 you can not claim both years credit in a year you have to file return for both years saprate.

09 April 2012 You can file revised return if you have filed his return within time limit prescribed u/s 139(1).

09 April 2012 Agree with Expert, Revised return can be filed in case your original return was filed in due time u/s 139(1)

09 April 2012 Continue with CA Surendra, If you have filed your return belatedly then you can submit application for rectification to the assessing officer seeking credit of TDS for that assessment year.

09 April 2012 The most important aspect is in which year you have shown the income against which TDS has been deducted. If it is in the assessment year 2011-12 then you have to claim it in the assessment year 2011-12. Otherwise in the assessment year 2012-13. If you have failed to claim the TDS in 2011-12 and the return has been filed in time as prescribed u/s 139(1) then you can file a revised return. Or wait for intimation sent to you by Banglore office. On receipt of the same you can file a rectification online by going to your account with the Income tax department e filing
