If a firm having turnover below limit of excise i.e. 1 cr . But still he want to get registration of excise for benefit of cenvat on purchase..... Is it really fruitfull or is it helpful in increaseing his profit margin??? how pls explain

if the purchase of the firm is mostly covered by exciseable goods, ( more than 75% of gross purchase) then its better to go for cenvat scheme and pay duty from zero level.
next buyer will be able to enjoy cenvat, as well as you will be in less burden coz almost 40-50% of tax will be meet from cenvat credit.

sir, thank u very much for sharing information Can u explain documents required for Excise Registration of Propritory firm (having Pan in name of Prop.) and how much Fees and charges reqd????
visit aces.gov.in and file online regn. send address proof, a site plan and pan card copy to department, they will issue regn in email, get it stamped by sending to the office by a office bearer.
