first identify under what category deemed export benefit is given to you under Project authority Certificate. If it is designated aS customs notifications then import duty is exempted. now coming to local excise there is no rule/provisions as such for exemption of duty. You need to apply to Regionla Licensing Authority of DGFT of your jurisdiction for claiming refund on Terminal Excise Duty (TED) supporting all the original duty paying documents, payment certificate in your favour, certificate from project authority confirming completion work . The time limit is 6 months from the date of invocie or payment certificate.
