26 April 2013 hello sir - we are purchasing some parts from local parties in India. at the time of receiving we are taking cenvat credit. after we are processing in our inhouse production. after complete packing we are sending export under duty rebate (excise duty) scheme.

can we apply for drawback also, if we are not using any imported parts for making that particular product ?

04 May 2013 Yes, you can take rebate and drawback also.

05 May 2013 Hello sir,
Thank you very much.

But we discussed with our excise dept (internal company) they are asking that we can take drawback only if we are using some imported materials only.

from where we can find out documentary proof (notification, circular, etc...) to show him.

please confirm notification, rule, circular no. for same.
