08 July 2010 Forming DA means forming part of the salary while calculating Retirement benefits. means if an employee on current date gets retired then while calculating his pension, gratuity & other retirement benefits what part of the DA will be taken for calculating them.

08 July 2010 yes.while calculating PE,Pension,Gratuity Calculation along with basic if DA also taken, it means the DA forming part of retirement benefits
