Many of our customers to whom we supply goods under inter-state sale at concessional rate of CST (4%), do not provide us Form C despite repeated reminders. In this situation what should we do.
Our problem is that parties just do not bother to give us Form C or the difference in tax amount. With some we have been following up for a year or more.
My question is since we are not at fault, why should we be punished ?
Will it be desirable and help us to complain about these defaulting parties to the Sales Tax Department ?

You can give only debit note to them for the differential tax amount and even you can take legal action if they are not paying the difference.
