05 January 2015 dear sir /mam i am going to write ca final in this year..i am very depresed about my career and kind of job.. i have cleared my cpt in 3 rd attempt with 187 marks and ipcc in first attempwith 57% and i dont have good articleship exposure as i worked in a very small firm... if i pass my final in first attempt ..what salary i would expect? in future..i am alse doing cs in final level
plz tell me i am very depresed

05 January 2015 Hi Rimi

First of all, there is nothing to be depressed about. Once you clear your Chartered Accountancy Final Exams, you need to believe in yourself that you are among the very few in this nation who have cleared this prestigious examination.

CA-CS is a good combination. However, I would suggest that in the meantime, you start working on the practical work as well. Whichever interview you'd face after completing CA-CS, the interviewer would try to test your practical knowledge about Audit, Taxation, and Accounting.

Rest, there is no standard starting salary for any profession. You might land up getting a decent job. But many of my friends who had struggled to get around 20-30 k in Mumbai after CA (since the number of attempts taken in the final examination were way too much). However, after a few years of experience, they are earning like anything.

So be patient, believe in yourself, you are a CA-CS. Be proud !

05 January 2015 i am depresed bcoz i have failed in cpt 2 times ..that means i am going to be ca in third attempt..which is not good for good career

05 January 2015 just tell me i will get good salary or not ..and kya main campusinterview mein selection ho paungi...as u know there is a very little value for third attemptor

06 January 2015 There is nothing to get depressed if you have cleared it after two attempts. It really does not matter. Yes there are a few companies who take only through-out first attempt passed students, but it is not a rule of thumb. A large portion of corporate world understand the rigour of this course, and Chartered Accountants, most often than naught, end up getting decent jobs.

Yes, you will surely get good job, besides campus placements, you must try to enroll in the online job portals and consult some HR consultants.

Even if the first job is not as good as other CA's, you will get promotions and hikes only on the basis of your work and expertise. Do try to perform well.

Kapil
