please suggest my wife working under state govt. and she is paying Rs 1000/- towards LIC . can I eligiable to get deductiou/s 80c ,I am working in govt. section , my wife income is below exemption limit

Yes,you can take deduction 80C.If you are making payment of LIC premium you can take deduction u/s 80C, So you can take deduction practically can convince that she is paid on behalf of you,
