It is better if he does not file his ITR because if he will show salary as well as stipend then he can be in problem because of ICAI.

Any article assisstant shouldnt engage himself in anyother business or profession except being a sleeping partner of a firm or a director in a company controlled by his family.
If you are an article assisstant its a clear violation of byelaws of icai.
but if you are not a article assisstant but working both in a CA office then it should be treated as salary and not as stipend.

Dear Friend
File the Return...... no problem at all
as per ICAI rules 35 hrs in week u have to utilize in Trainning i.e. 6 hrs/ day.....
if u r doing any job/business then no prob file return and in your case ITR 1 is required and show both (salary + stipends).
ICAI wont ask for your ITR......
