If the society's bye-laws are misplaced, and both the registered office and sub-registration office have no record of them, the next procedure would be: 1. _File a complaint_: Report the loss to the police and obtain a complaint number.
2. _Notify the Registrar_: Inform the Registrar of Societies (ROS) about the lost bye-laws and provide the police complaint number.
3. _Apply for a duplicate copy_: Request the ROS to issue a duplicate copy of the bye-laws, if they have a record of them.
4. _Recreate the bye-laws_: If the ROS doesn't have a record, recreate the bye-laws by:
a. _Conducting a general body meeting_: Gather members to reconstruct the bye-laws.
b. _Pass a resolution_: Approve the reconstructed bye-laws through a resolution.
c. _Get it registered_: Register the newly created bye-laws with the ROS.
1. _Amend the bye-laws (if needed)_:
If the reconstructed bye-laws differ from the originals, amend them accordingly. Please consult a legal expert or the Registrar of Societies for guidance on the specific procedure and documentation required.
