Hiii,

Dear Experts,

I have a Query regarding non filler of income tax return under time limit

My query is one of my client paid all taxes fot the A.Y. 2014-15 before 31.03.2016 but not filled the return....before 31.03.2016.

so what would do the next step....????

Pls help meee......????

Please file a belated return u/s 139 (4) with interest.

there are two solutions to handle this. first, login to efiling website. there you will see a compliance section where it might display that return has not been received for AY 14-15. fill the reason for non filing and declare the net total income and mention the tax amt paid in the remarks column. submit the compliance and its done.... second, visit your AO. request him to issue notice u/s 142(1). then file a return in response to such notice.
