Dear Friends
One of my friend have filed ((Individual ITR 4-- Individual file) a Income tax
return having TDS refund of Rs 9146/- for the FY 2010-11 (AY 2011-12)
in the month of June 2011.
But He have not received the Refund till now...what should he do....

Dear Kailash,
If you have filed your return online then wait for processing of your refund by CPC, Banglore
unless you may approach to department for refund.

If you have filed online return, then check the E-filing processing status by logging in the website & you can as well call the cpc call centre.
Have you received the cpc acknowledgement & intimation u/s 143(1)?
If it is filed offline, then contact the assessing officer.

Thanks a lot Mukesh sir and vallabh sir.............It was not filled online....... hardcopy submitted to income tax office by hand...

If the return was nt filed online, then you contact the A.O. of your ward for the matter at hand.
He will follow up the refund procedure.

Mr kailash,
It is better to file online return for easy & fast processing of returns & refund.
However, now take a photocopy of all the relevant documents & specially take the tds certificates & form 26AS & contact the assessing officer.
Hope it is processed at the earliest.

Anybody can file his/her return of income. Not necessarily by a CA

Yes, agreed with Mr Prateek, just follow the guidelines in the IT website & make sure that you have posted the ITR-V to the CPC within 120 days.

Yes you need to first register your pan & then a link is sent to email id, click on it & you can activate your account.
Most important points while registering are:
1)Give proper email-id
2)Remember the password
3) Also do remember the secret question & answer
4) It is always better to check form 26AS before uploading return.
