TDS LATE FEES

I have paid late fees of Rs.23,200/- for Q3 of F.Y.2021-22. i have view filled form on Income Tax then i come to know that return was filled offline and it is reflecting on traces. Please suggest me is it better to correct offline or online. I want to correct as a tax

You can do online correction to nullify the demand using traces

And also offline rectification can be filed as per your convenience

Online correction is possible but there are some other instances.

Yes, you can use offline and online modes for the correction. However online correction will be easier.

If you file for online correction, you just have to add the challan in your TDS return and submit it. The demand will get corrected.

If there no demand raised by IT Dept then correction is not required

Obviously online correction is more convenient but it depends on the user. The department has issued notice otherwise why late fees are being paid. Sometimes it's online message being submitted to the client.

Thank you so much sir for your suggestion but outstanding amount is Rs. 2560/- i want to correct the challan of late fees into tax. Offline is better or online?
