For which AY and when you received, demand under which section 143 1a or ? check what mistake you did, create ITR for rectification, for AY 20-21 and 21-22 open for rectification, I feel you did all this. now wait for response. old cases they are not attending.

you just submitted revised tax paid retails or complete revised ITR under 139(5), just check on portal again status under filed returns and pending action response to demand or may be it will take time for rectification.

check at service rectification new request select year AY submit , on top it will show notice check do it allow you to rectify, check what it asking, revised ITR or just tax paid details, let me know. may be it will tell you already submitted.

i have similar 5 cases of ay 19-20 unable to rectify as tab not open and above they are adjusting demand from present refunds

The other Rectification Request type will be made available soon . check if you can submit revised return 139 5, i think once you received notice under 143 1a , you have to reply against 143 1 notice only.

no you can not, 139 5 is only after 139 1 till not processed, once processed and notice issued under 143 1a it will not accept, you can try on line or off line. but try in rectification only. check status, service rectification new request select year AY submit , on top it will show notice check do it allow you to rectify, check what it asking, revised ITR or just tax paid details, let me know. may be it will tell you already submitted. help line is bull sh*t.

as per ITR 2 there is no option to file under 143 1 so you need to follow rectification tab only. previously you have already replied, what you submitted and how.

previously you have already replied, what you submitted and how. if not done wait till tabs open and allow you to rectify.
