Service tax on short term accomodation.
A hotel has 2 different categories of rooms for rent. One has declared tariff less than 1000/- other has more than 1000/-. Is service tax payable only on the room rent of room with tariff more than 1000/- or both.

Only on more than Rs. 1000
tax will only be payable when declared tariff is rupees 1000 or more
since one of the rooms is having more..so service tax liability emerges for that room only
