Dear Sir,
1. X Ltd is presently doing Jewelry business in Tamilnadu by registering and getting GSTIN under Regular Scheme.
2. Then this entity wants to start a business of Automobile Dealership in the same state.
3. Can this entity start this Automobile Dealership with the same GSTIN which was already registered or New Registration to be carried out?.
4. Why we have asked means "these two business will be considered as different verticals"?.
5. Kindly clarify.

yes they can do more than one business in one gstin no but within state only, they need to amend the core filled in registration
only one GSTN is issued on one pan no within state so there will be only one GSTN on single Pan within the state ...u have to amend ur existing registration details and add new business and business place in existing GSTN...
sorry to say but more than one gstin no. can be issue in one pan no so as per Mr marimatu it,s depend upon the businessman whether they want seperate registration or not
yes..wrong interpretation by me..u can do so if you have 2 separate business
