Rashmi Ji - Tachnical Error nahi hai. They are Charging Late Fees for August.

Anshul Agrawal Ji - Every is Supporting GST, but At least GOVT should WAIVE OFF the LATE FEES. If Govt. is saying it will take time. Then We also want time to Learn from our Previous mistakes and work speedily.

In My Opinion we all Should Request Govt. to WAIVE OFF the Late Fees for August.

It is clearly mentioned on Gst portal that they are charging late fees for August return now in sep return. They have also given calculation for late fees.
God knows what they are thinking and doing. One thing is sure that it is causing lot of problems for business and tax consultants to cope up with the pending returns building day by day.

in my opinion also there should be no penalty, late fees and interest for atleast this FY.
Then Forward a Request Letter in all Your Groups of Tax Consultants, Tax Practitioners, Chamber, Businessmen, CAs. etc. and ask them to Request Govt. to Waive Off the Late Fees.
The clients are also flabbergasted with the late fees and expect to be paid by us.
Compliance in this system is very high.
Govt should consider that ppl need time to get acquainted with the system.
Moreover many forms aren't even able on the portal eg cancellation of registration etc.
Plus in the time of July returns we have to file 3B of August and September.
The GSTR2 of July gets sidelined in the process.
It's very difficult to comply right now.
CA's are losing sleep and mind over this.

then atleast upto Sep or August.
