As Per Hasmukh Adhia Sir, It will take 6-9 Months for System to be Smooth in GST.

Then Govt. should also Give Businessmen, Tax Practitioners, CAs and the Country at large 6-9 Months to Understand all the Compliances and then Comply with the Provisions on Time and till Then NO LATE FEES Should be charged.

People are not Ready to Pay AUGUST 3B Late Fees and SEP 3B's Last Date is Near and Diwali too. Such a Messy Situation.

Is penalty levied for non FILING OF NIL GSTR1? If yes how much?

Due to such high handed measures the compliance will get effected which will lead to terrible loss of revenues and the vicious cycle . I think it's high time someone should drag govt to courts as this is clear cut loot by govt without having any redressal to grievances and issues faced by general public. Thee way they are handling matters I think 70% firms registered under gst will be in this late fee and other mess by the end of the year and there will be so much litigation arising due to this

As per what i work i conclude that.....

If no return filed till date then penalty is from 200/- per day from 20 Sept to date of filing.

If you submit & filed on same day any time then no penalty.

If submitted by you & not filed by you then 200/- per day from date of submission to date of filing.
