New syllabus cs executive

I'm pursuing cma(final) and passed 2group(old syllabus) CS executive with exemption in economic and labour laws. Now, my query is that whether I will get exemption in 1subject only or all 2nd group subjects. Should I prepare all subjects of both modules of new syllabus. Please help me. Thanks in advance.

Since you scored 60 or more marks in the paper ‘Economic and Labour Laws’, you will get paper-wise exemption under New Syllabus 2012 for all the 3 papers of Group-2 of CS Executive Programme (Old Syllabus 2007).

Hence, you need to prepare for the following subjects under New Syllabus 2012:

- Cost and Management Accounting

- Economic and Commercial Laws

- Tax Laws and Practice

- Company Accounts and Auditing Practices

Why apply for new syllabus??

Stick to the old one.

Wait until they abolish old syllabus exams

The last examination under Executive Programme (Old Syllabus 2007) was held in December 2014 session and there hasn’t been any announcement by ICSI for extension.

From June 2015 session, all students will be automatically switched over to the Executive Programme (New Syllabus 2012).

*Note: In case the student has obtained 60 or more marks in paper 221 AND 225 under old syllabus and has obtained the exemption as per rules, then, he shall be exempted to appear in paper 323 (Economic and Commercial Laws) AND 327 (Industrial, Labour and General Laws) under New syllabus.
