yes neerali, you are right Icai prefers that student send them a application to approve transfer in their case by stating the reasons and the proof after that icai answers the application, and if they they allow than you can send your form no. 109

refer dhiraj's post in the second last para it is said that

"The articled assistants are required, in the first instance, to get the consent of the Institute before getting Form 109 signed by the Principal, in their own interest."

just write your application on a plain paper and send it to the icai and wait for the reply

how long do they take to revert ur application

They will not take much time.

I am CA student and doing my articleship last 5 months but not comfartable with my principle. He is treating me like a servant and always says articles are negligible item for me. He always threatn me by saying i will ruin your carrier. I am facing more problem and in deep dipression.
