Deduct the amount of medical allowance from the gross salary in calculation of income from salary to the extent of Rs. 15,000/-. There is no particular column in ITR 2 for this.

1) In case it is fixed monetary amount i.e. Medical Allowance, then
> Sheet ‘Part B-TI-TTI-SAL’
> Schedule S (at the bottom of the page)
> 3. Allowances not exempt

2) In case it is reimbursement of medical expenses (Perquisite u/s 17(2)(v), if exceeds Rs. 15,000 p.a.)
> Sheet ‘Part B-TI-TTI-SAL’
> 4. Value of Perquisites (amount exceeding Rs. 15,000)
