Dear Future CA,
It depends on you in a sense what hold you have over the subjects to continue or not,.My math says that one professional degree matters to Scale up in the professional world.A bit late is Fine, but Pain of buying this degree is worth it,provided if you would like to make a career in industry. On the contrary There is another framework if you wanna sell/give service something by being a consultant on ur own, then perhaps you don need this degree. In the latter case you are counted on being a problem solver and not by any degree at the back of your name.
Example: A mechanic who i know of is not a 10th pass. His specialization is water pumpsets and motors. He just needs to switch it on and off couple of times to pin point in fraction of second where the problem is.His consultancy fees for 15 mins job is 400 to 500 bucks! but he is problem solver.Of late this guy has become a Hired Company contract man by a renowened pumpset company.I really don find a mecahnical engineer commonly to do that job.Niether the Renowened Pumpset company was bothered to vouch his qualification
CA should not be a Ego issue.Don live for others ,live for yourself.
Be Free a man but Slave of God.

Age has got nothing to do with qualifying as CA. As a note, I would like to inform that Prof. SD Bala completed CA Final at the age of 60 years.
