why would u prefer it ?
if u have tried it, did u face any problems ? (other than that the site does not work many times)
u can find some useful stuf at this link /forum/fill-exam-form-online-46516.asp ... though it relates to nov 2009, it will be useful.

It seems that icaiexam now works only during office hours ie. 10 AM to 5 PM on working days.
