will there be any action taken by ICAI against these private coaching institutions for producing low quality professionals like they did with IIT or is ICAI going to be spineless asusual?

no ICAI just cares about making money.they dont mind coaching.

How can u blame coaching institutes for so called "low quality professionals"? Did u set the benchmarks for mr XYZ certified "hi quality professionals"?
Taking coaching classes doesn't make a CA student a low quality CA(wip).
Our ICAI should be concentrating on making "Project Parivartan" a grand success; improve Brand CA and take Campus Placements upto the levels of IIM/IIT ; enforce professional ethics so that aberrations such as Satyam,GTB dont occur again................and modernise the "CA course" esp Financial Management,Costing......

why would i set the standards? standards have been set by ICAI and other qualified professionals earlier..if you want to know what am i talking about go to some coaching institute ( master minds, superwiz sorts) where the students will have to sit their asses out for like 9 to 10 hours and ask them a basic question on any ca related subject and you will know what am i talking about. for a cpt student a question booklet of like 1000 questions will be given and for a pcc student may be 2000 questions and will be asked to study those questions their brains out day in and day out for like 6 months. where are the standards there? what these coaching centeres ( or atleast most of them) want is to cash in on the opportunity. when i was in my +2 my batch was the last batch for commerce in a private college bucause they thought we were value less or rather low profit making, back then iit and aieee courses were in better demand. now they opened ca coaching institutions. according to ca act an auditor is not allowed to advertise or use of flaashy things to make his presence felt ,then why icai is allowing these institutions to advertise on tv radio and every other medium possible? according to a recent survey on iit's ,students from these private iit coaching centeres ( who scores ranks in entrance exams ) are the low performing in the iit's and even in their professions. if this is the way our ICAI is going about with these coaching institutions then we are not far behind.

ICAI can't take action against coaching institutes, coz they aint carrying out anything illegal.
Only members(owners of the coaching classes,if any) and students fall under their purview. And can u tell me how ICAI will devote resources to check over its 8lac students. Maybe, outsource the work to CIA! 
At the most, ICAI can toughen the syllabus, exam questions and enforce the articleship regulations strictly.

ICAI need not keep a check on the students it should keep a check on the members.that would actually solve so many problems students are facing.ICAI anyways has always been partial towards its members.it is very liberal to its members and very ( i mean it) strict towards students which i think should be other way around.and regarding question papers i think there should be some thinking done.ICAI should start considering the fact that it is humans who are writing the exams and not some machinery. and the last part of your reply enforcing the articleship regulations strictly should, if done correctly should keep a check on the low quality ca manufacturing factories

hi every body, institute should take action against coahing centers as they are spoiling the students life by telling false statements like ca coaching at 29999 rs and it is easy and so on
