transportation of goods by road we are paying service tax to the transporters on freight inward calculated on 25% of the freight amount and also we are paying service tax on other such services like commission, clearing and forwarding charges, courier and telephone services. please let us know whether we are entitled to claim input credit of service tax paid on freight inward and other services

Yes u can claim ST on Input Services but here is restriction for claimin CENVAT o freight..

if the same company pays service tax for manpower and staff transportation service, now can that company can claim any input.
