Guys this is too much. Lets go and protest at their office. Why cant they return our hard earned money.

They are totally not serious about this. India has to be the only country where such callousness is accepted as a norm. The IT dept has nothing but absolute and utter disregard for the taxpayers. It’s been over a month since the ITR was processed and the sad part is there’s no end in sight even now. It’s tragic that there’s absolutely nowhere a taxpayer can go to get their grievances addressed, the e-grievance cell, cpc on phone and even CPGRAMS all have the same cut copy paste reply to offer to you. We’re truly at god’s mercy here. I shudder at the thought of going through the same ordeal again next year! which I’m sure many of us will.

Hi my status still showing ITR recived only . Will they send notice in such cases ?

I guess those itr which are not processed We will be getting notices soon But even that they will take their sweet time

Last year I got the notice in April last week to correct my return. Refund got processed in May.

Did anyone who recieved intimation on 24th mar got the refund. Please advise.

My colleagues got intimation on 6th March and 24th March but still refund not credited ..what a pathetic department

Mine ITR is still not processed yet

These corrupt thugs sitting in the department and govts are responsible
