it is not necessary to file ITR as his income is lower than maximum exemption limit ,which is Rs160000

One more question....If next year this income gets increase to 2.2 Lac per annumn
Can the preson claim deduction of 80C and still has to file return ?

Dear Ashok ji..
If the income increases to Rs. 2.2lacs then the person vl have to file ITR even if his/her income after deduction reduces below taxable limit....n ITR 4 vl be applicable...

File return from this year...but it is not compulsory as the income does not exceed basic exemption before 80 deduction...

ITR return is to be filed when gross total income is more than exemption limit. It is advisable not to file return if income doesnt exceed exemption limit.
Moreover, in your case it seems you are considering gross receipt as taxable amount. But dear friend i would like to tell you that you can claim expenses in consideration to the income which you have earned as tution fees. This is only when Rs. 1.5 lac mentioned are gross receipts.

return shud b filled frm current yr onli... even though the income is below the basic exemption limit b4 deductions under chapter VI... but it also has over lapping future benefits... yeh tension paalne ka kaam nahi hai.. returns r for own gud..!!

Moreover practically IT department doesnt accept returns below exemption limit.

sudhanshu,
forms r not divided as per the income earned.. but it is divided as per income sources... since tution fees is a profession, ITR 4 would b used... also check.. there is no requirement of minimum income criteria on any form..!!!!!
