Can you please help me understand the treatment of packing charges and royalty in excise? When packing charges/ royalty are to be treated while calculating the transaction value?

packing material of any kind is included royality is also included if it is paid by reason of or inconneciton with sales like bottlers paid to coke
GSTR 9 and 9C for FY 23-24 as amended by Notification 12/2024 dated 10th July 2024(with recording)
