Dear All,
Kindly tell me what are the clauses for exemption under HRA if a salaried person is leaving in a non metro city ?

Rest all the clauses are teh same for person living in metro or non-metro cities. Only the first criteria i.e. percentage of basic to be taken shud be 50% if assessee living in a metro city and 40% of basic if living in non-metro city.
Delhi, Mumbai,Chennai,Kolkata,hyderabad,Bangalore are considered as Metro cities
