So why only for CA ?? Shut all universities, B schools and institutes of higher learning... And send setudents to work in order to teach them.....

I feel it is not right to say that coaching classes should not be done. Few benefits according to me

CA course was always tough. Even 20/30 years ago pass percentage was almost same as today's. The course has changed with times but it is as hard now as it was earlier. In our times there was no concept of tutions. We relied heavily on practical training. I myself never took any tution. Yes once or twice I had taken help from my seniors. It is not that I was a brilliant student. But hard work and practical knowledge helped and I was a rank holder in CA exam.

Vivek please dont say nowdays CA students lack anything. Times have changed a lot and the syllabus has increased like hell.
Right from Accounting Stds which hardly were there before 1990, Companies Act many provisions were not there, the whole world of financial management did not exist twenty five years back, due to these three things audit was much easier to do, no CARO, both taxes had much less provisions to learn. So volume of syllabus has increased like a lot
Although percentage of passing may have been same, competition has increased. Although mathematically its the same, but practically, Its not the same to be a part of 10 out of 100 students... and 1000 out of 10000 students. Competition has increased a lot now.
I am not saying whatever Daruka Sir said is wrong. He is undoubtedly hard working to have passed but that doesnt mean nowadays students are not like that.

Dear Teja Brother,
A coin may have two side. What was my discussion was going here in a wrong path. Take the coaching classes only and only if you are really needed.
Did you know there are still particular segment of students were just confined to coaching resources only.
After the classes also you are required to work out on your own.
I humbly request that we have to at least respect the age and education qualifications. In his study age, no good reference books are available and only one book is ICAI study materials. Second, there is no good and specialised coaching classes also not available. I hope these are just the side of coins

Hello sir,
I think ur article is completely illogical for those students who r doing articleship and hardly get time for studies.Coming from office at 8 pm and concentrating on the institute mat to understand the concepts is just like looking for water in desert.
I dont know about other cities but Kolkata has got so many talented teachers for CA curriculum teaching in completely student friendly manner.
In articleship ,employers want us to do the work even 10 days before the exam i.e they are least bothered about our exams but the teachers wants us to pass with good marks unlike the employer who wants us to fail.
From the above anyone can understand that tutions are important for concept clearing.

take coaching where ever required and try to improve on your own. my idea is never confined to coaching world rather up grade towards ICAI requirement. Cheers dear
