ICAI institute is known to do fair things with the students but due to amendments in the rules i.e Transfer of November 2007 and May 2008 PE-II passed out students to CA Final New Course some unfair things are happening with these student.So we are requesting you to read the rule as per ICAI and consequences due to amendments in the rule which are mentioned below:
Rule as per ICAI :
Pass PE-2 exam in Nov 2007
Join articleship before April 2008,
Write CA final exams ONLY, ONLY, in Nov 2010. This student is not eligible to write in May 2010.
This student does not have a choice. While all previous batches under the old scheme are able to complete their final exams pending 12 months of articleship, these students and those passing out of PE-2 in May 2008 will not be extended that benefit.
Consequences of above rule :
1).All the previous batches of PE-2 (before Nov 2007) would get TWO attempts to write their final exams before they complete their articleship. On the other hand, the Nov 2007 and May 2008 batches of PE-2 would be allowed just ONE attempt of the final exam before they complete their articleship. In these days of intense competition, an extra attempt without any loss of time is priceless. A loss of one attempt is a big disadvantage.
2)The students who attempt their Final exams pending 12 months of articleship would be able to better concentrate on the remaining period of 9 odd months of their articleship having freed their mind of the exam tension. That benefit will not accrue to this batch of students.
3)Students who will be clearing PCC May 2008 attempt will able to appear May 2010 attempt for CA final and inspite of clearing November 2007 or May 2008 PE-II Examination we will be able to appear in November 2010 and May 2011 which reflects unjustice with us.
Students who had cleared November 2007 PE- II Examination is not getting any benefit of clearing the exam before PCC May 2008 students as they will get attempt of CA Final in May 2010 and we will get our CA Final Exam in November 2010 inspite of clearing exam 6 months before than PCC Students and we are getting our attempt of final exam 6 months later.This shows loss of 6 months loss of our carreer.
4)To make a new rule, all November 2007 and May 2008 PE-II Examination passed out students are being targeted by ICAI as clearly rule is reflecting 6 Months loss of our Career
Prayer :
We are sure that the welfare of students is of high priority to the Council of ICAI. We earnestly request to kindly consider this hardship and permit the students passing out of PE-II and undergoing 3 years of articleship training thereafter and enrolling in the Final (New) Syllabus after 1st Nov 2007 to write the final exam while they serve the last twelve months of practical training.
Sir, I am requesting from bottom of my heart to amend the rule to save your students from its consequences Students are going under depression and feeling insecurity due to new rules.
Sir please keep yourself at our position and then think relating to the above matter, then we are definitely sure that you are going to understand our problem
So please please look at this matter.
