Extention of due date for submitting audit report u/s 44AB for the AY 2014-15 from 30-09-2014 to 30-11-2014
Is the extention is only for submitting audit report or it also applicable to ITR filing ?

it is not for return it is only for tax audit report
return can be file without audit report i.e. on 30/09/14
n for tax audit report date is 30/11/2014

Agree with mayank, this is only for TAR & not for income tax return.
And nitesh, profit or taxable income can be assessed upto 30 sep so that you can file return & other issues can be setteled later on (ie after sept), like only reporting issues........

I too think that the date extention is applicable to audit report only, but there is an interesting fact. There is a mandatory column in ITR where you have to provide date of uploading audit report u/s 44AB. How can this be filled without finalising the accounts.
