Excess leave letter received from icai

Dear Experts, I completed my articleship on 21/10/2015 and submitted form 108 to institute on time. Now I have received a letter from icai which says that institute has some record from which they have concluded that I have taken excess leaves of 17 days. They have now asked me to complete 17 days of extended articleship . I have a query that from which date I should show my extended articleship as I am working in the same firm as paid assistant and which forms I should submit.. Regards,

In case articles training is served with the same Principal and in continuation of previous training without any break, execute a supplementary deed of articles for the period equivalent to the excess leave period (i:e 17 days) in Form 107 on a 'Non-judicial Stamp Paper; or affix ' Special Adhesive Stamp' of appropriate value.

The deed of supplementary articles must be submitted in original along with a copy so as to reach the Institute's Office within 60 days from the date of commencement of training.

Hello sir, does it mean that I execute a supplementary articles deed on 4 jan 2015 for 17 days upto 21 jan 15 ans send it to institute within 60 days. Regards

If you continued to serve in the same firm, mention those 17 days. Not the period in 2016 but prior to it.
