dear it depends how many leaves you availed during the articles training and no employer is having status quo to extend the period and institute given the limits of the leave, in my opininon the  leaves are distributed over the period of audit and availment is on yearly basis, it can be accrued and taken once. I think you can write the mail to board of studies for the clarification

i have read some where ( CA Regulation Act i think ) that the leave availed during the tenure of the exams are paid leaves. And regarding the extension of articleship you articleship is viable for extension provided you exceed the 135 days leave allowed by institute.

hi.anish.

i donn think there is any hard rule for that..praveen is right ..i think u shld write to the concerned authority ..if u get the proper  answer than plz do rem to post it so that we all can know it for our easiness in future.

  thanx.

what is the criterion for calculating 15 month articleship before PCE, is the laeve taken during the period counted within the period or are excluded from 15 months?

what happens when excess leave are being taken by the article ? is he is still eligible to appear for the examination PCE?
