Will anyone please help me out in finding the method of solution for these questions

1. The values of 4+ 1/ 4+ 1/ 4+ 1/ 4+.......2 (in chapter equations in QA)

2. If the sum of the roots of the quadratic equation ax^2+bx+c=0 is equal to the sum of the squares of their reciprocals then b^2/ac + bc/a^2 is equal to

3. The sum of two numbers is 45 and the mean proportional between them is 18. The numbers are

These are just my method which I applied for CPT. The actual lengthy method might be different so please forgive my naïveté’s.
Q1.  4+1/4+1/4+1/4+2
1st calculate 1/6, u get .166667 and add this value to 4 and you will get 4.166667
Now again do 1/4.166667 and u get .23999 and add it to 4 u get 4.239999
Once more when you do 1/4.239999 u get .23584 which can be taken as .236
Therefore the answer here comes to 2 ± (root of) 5.
Q3. X+Y=45 and X, 18, Y are in G.P.
Therefore, 182=X.Y or X=324/Y
Now we get, 324/Y+Y=45 or rearranging, Y2-45Y+324=0
Solving the quadratic equation we get Y=9 or Y=36 and hence the two numbers are 9 and 36.
